Internship x CISPA aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. We aspire to provide a platform that allows you to showcase and practice your skills while guiding you in building the next big thing on your portfolio.
Types of Internship we offer
Industrial Internship
Does your degree mandate an internship of 3-6 months to gain hands-on-experience in the field? Our new program allows prospective students to work with industry professionals and acquire the best we have to offer.
Research Internship
Are you an aspiring researcher looking to contribute to the cutting-edge of academic research in cybersecurity? Then our CSR program is the perfect fit for you!

Corporate Communications
- Poster & Graphic Design
- Brand Management & Strategy
*We also welcome initiative proposals (in Cover Letter).
Scientific Talent Acquisition & Management (STAM)
- Using Odoo for Recruitment
- Designing and implementing websites
- Operational Support for Onboarding, Integration, and Internal Communications
What is an industrial internship at CISPA?
The Internship x CISPA Program offers students from various backgrounds a 3-6 month paid internship to work on exciting projects alongside industry professionals at CISPA.
Applications are accepted year round!
How does the application process work?
Please submit the following documents:
- CV (optionally with link to portfolio)
- Motivation Letter: the motivation letter should be about one page long and show your interest and motivation for a specific topic(s).
- Recent Academic Transcripts (e.g. a degree certificate)
- Certificate of Enrollment
- Proof of Mandatory Internship from your academic institution
Our team will then screen your application and find the best suitable project category for your profile.
After that we will call prospective applicants for an interview to get to know them better and talk about our responsibilities within the company.

Who can Participate?
The program is open to...
- students enrolled at a German institution in their Bachelor’s or Master’s from various fields of study (IT, Design, Marketing, Psychology, etc.)
- students with mandatory internship requirement (eg. Media Informatics @ Saarland University, Computer Science @ HTW Saar)
- You should display an independent and effective working style, in an international and intercultural environment.
- Strong communications skills in English and/or German
What we offer

- An international, multicultural, highly professional and friendly working environment.
- A 3-6 months stay in the Southwest of Germany. Start date is the first of the month. Working time is 39 hours/week (negotiable).
- The monthly remuneration is €450 per month
- An internship contract will cover the whole period of your internship project.
Please note: Student interns are responsible for their own international health insurance, accident insurance and travel expenses and housing.
